Tier 2 Intervention for Students with Speech Errors
This product includes both Dolch Words and Fry Words that begin a specific target sound that is difficult for the student to produce. The following sounds are included in this product: F, K, Sh, Ch, S, L, Th, R. Each word list comes with verbal prompt of how to produce the sound and a visuals from the Lindamood "Lips" Program. This bundle includes (1) a Progress Monitoring Form for each sound, (2) a Comprehensive 2 page list of all words sorted by sound and position, as well as (3) a write up that I provide to Teachers to Complete as a Tier 2 intervention in the Classroom & Parents to Practice at home for reinforcement. A body of research (e.g., Morrisette & Gierut, 2002; Storkel & Morrisette, 2002) has found that high-frequency words led to greater generalization in students with speech sound errors.
